　　Two more people in Shanghai and one more in Anhui were confirmed infected with the H7N9 bird flu virus Sunday. As of now, China has confirmed 21 H7N9 cases and the virus has claimed the lives of six people. There are 10 reported cases in Shanghai, six in Jiangsu, three in Zhejiang and two in Anhui.

　　The National Health and Family Planning Commission announced that the epidemic situation of H7N9 appears in sporadic outbreaks. No epidemiological link between the confirmed cases has been identified. All close contacts of the cases have been placed under medical observation and have not shown flu symptoms.

　　国家卫生和计划生育委员会发布消息称，目前H7N9禽流感疫情处于散发状态。确诊病例间未发现流行病学联系，所有与确诊患者密切接触过的人均已接受医学观察，未发现流感症状。

　　The H7N9 avian flu virus was detected from pigeon samples collected at a marketplace selling agricultural products in the Songjiang District of Shanghai by the national avian flu reference laboratory on April 4. Local authorities have killed all the chickens, ducks and other birds on site.
