　　当insist 不表示坚持或者建议\要求时, 它后面的动词不用虚拟语气, 如: I insisted that my answer was right. 我坚持认为我的答案是对的. 而当insist表示坚持(某种意见/建议)时,其后面的宾语从句中的谓语动词需要用虚拟语气,即should +动词原形,should也可以省略. 如: Her mother insisted that she (should) stay at home. 她母亲坚持要她呆在家里。
