　　近几年在时尚圈很流行用珠宝或鞋子等配饰来表达自己的个性“宣言”，而这种略显夸张、彰显个性的珠宝也被称为statement jewelry(宣言珠宝)。

　　“宣言珠宝”就是让女人能展现自我风格、傲立群芳的醒目珠宝。人们用饰品(主要是珠宝)来宣告自己的身份和价值观。

In the end, statement jewelry is meant to boost one's confidence.
