　　Smart palm trees have been installed and are ready for use inDubai this summer enabling beach goers and park visitors tohave limitless power and internet access on their mobile phones.

　　On each tree, there are eight charging points and WiFi ranges for 100 metres in any direction.

　　Smart Palm is the company behind this ingenious endeavour and have so far set up two - one onSurf Beach and another in a park near the waterfront.

　　The company plans to plant them in 103 locations around Dubai as part of a contract with thecity.

　　Towering at 20 feet high and with leaves measuring 18 square metres, the high-tech palms,understandably, are also equipped with screens and security cameras.

　　However, the cost to use the powerful palm has not yet been decided.
