习大大访美吃些啥？白宫宴请菜单一览

　　Darting back and forth from refrigerator to sink while hurriedly preparing 350 hand-carved radishrosettes, President Obama reported Friday that everything must be absolutely perfect for tonight’s state dinner in honor of Chinese president Xi Jinping. “I’ve got to have this duck confit ready in just a few hours and I haven’t even finished applying the garlic rub yet,” Obama yelled from across the White House kitchen.

　　总统奥巴马在冰箱和水池间来回奔波着，他正忙着准备350个手工雕刻的胡萝卜花结。周五，奥巴马称，今晚同习近平主席的国宴必须完美!“几个小时前我就已经做好了脆皮油封鸭，但现在我还没有剥好大蒜!”奥巴马穿梭在白宫的厨房里，大声说道。

　　He plated the prosciutto-stuffed mushroom appetizers before frantically dicing stalks of celery and sprinkling them over the green apple and walnut salad, and then tossing the peach cobblers into the oven. “Then we have poached salmon with Mousseline sauce for the third course and—my God, I forgot about the president’s seafood allergy!”

　　White House chefs have given a sneak preview of what they call an American welcoming meal, fused with Chinese cuisine：

　　炙烤科罗拉多峡谷羊肉，(枸杞收尾)、炸香蒜、小西兰花;搭配加州傲山酒庄2012年“智选”葡萄酒。

　　Besides，Grammy-winning R&B singer Ne-Yo is providing entertainment at the state dinner.

　　此外，格莱美R&B获奖歌手尼欧在国宴上也参与了演出。

　　White House executive Chef——Chris Comeford：

　　We’re just giving so much energy. We’re just seeing the plates came back empty. That’s the biggest compliment.
