　　A: Yeah, I'd like to call my friend. He stays in Room 1012 here. Could you put me through? 我想接到我朋友的1012房间，您帮我转接好吗?

　　B: Oh, I'm afraid I cannot transfer calls from the house phone. 恐怕我这里无法为您转接内线电话。

　　A: Then what can I do? 那可怎么办呢?

　　B: For room-to-room calls here, just dial the room number directly. 对于酒店内房间与房间之间的电话直接拨打房间号就可以了。

　　A: It's so easy. By the way, how can I get through to a friend of mine in Bejing Hotel? 这么简单哪。顺便问一下，我怎么才能给住在北京饭店的朋友打通电话呢?

　　B: Well, for calls inside the city, please dial 9 first and then the phone number. 打市内电话，请先拨9，然后再拨电话号码。

　　A: I see. Then how about outside the city? I want to call Shanghai. 知道了。还有怎么打到本市以外呢?我想打去上海。

　　B: For calls outside the city, please dial 0 first, then the area code and the number. 打市外电话，请先拨0，再拨区号和电话号码。

　　A: Fine. Thanks a lot. 好的，多谢了。

　　B: You're welcome. 不必客气。
