  be in the mood for/to do.表示“有心情做某事”,be not in the mood for/to do表示“没有心情做某事”

  I'm just not in the mood for the party.我没心情参加聚会。

  What a pity!是对他人遭受不幸时表达怜悯,同情时使用的句子。表示“真遗憾;可惜。”

  nothing more than表示“不过是;无非是”

  beat“击败”

  wonder相当于want to know,表示“想知道”

  appropriate“合适的”

  recover“(从不愉快的经历中)恢复”
