新概念和托福OG词汇重合

　　OG是托福官方机构ETS出版的official Guide to the New TOEFL的简称，是唯一托福出题人出版的对于托福考试的权威介绍。这本书提供了六篇阅读题，其中可以找到太多新概念的影子，尤其是词汇方面两者的相似性。特举例如下：

　新三Lesson 3:An unknown goddess中出现fragment一词, 同时讲解fragile一词，第52课出项 delicate一词，他们都是是新三课堂重点诠释的词汇。

　　OG阅读practice set2第五段原文中一句话为：The semiarid lands bordering the deserts exist in a delicate ecological balance and are limited in their potential to adjust to increased environmental pressures.

　　QUESTION 3: The word delicate in the passage is closest in meaning to A. fragile B. predictable C. complex D.valuable (正确选项为A.)

　　新四24课beauty, 第一段最后一句：For language, which was invented to convey the meanings of this world, cannot readily be fitted to the uses of another. 很多同学对于readily都有迷惑，课堂上我们会让学生注明=easily, 并举例：Guns are cheap and readily available in this area. (这个地方枪又便宜又容易获得。)

　　OG的reading practice set 3 第三段有一句：Exhibitors, however, wanted to maximize their profits, which they could do more readily by projecting a handful of films to hundred of customers at a time and by charging 25 to 50 cents admission.

　　QUESTION 4: The word readily in the passage is closets in meaning to:

　　从上面可以看出，托福重合了太多新三、新四是上课的词汇讲解，有一些甚至是原声重现。

　　所以新三可以让你掌握了相当多托福常用词汇的，OG阅读部分出题的新三词汇就有：assistance 58, expose, precious 19, propulsion 18, threaten, expand, inevitable 34, pent-up 46, outlets 46, channel 11, sophisticated 11,thrust 28, diminish 50 （数字代表新概念三册课文篇数）

　　新四能解决更难一级的核心词汇， OG阅读部分出题新四词汇的就有 distort 32, spearhead, progressively 37, momentum, enhance 22，而新四对于托福更大的意义在于提供了大部分同学很难认知的阅读词汇，不信看看下列同时在新四和OG阅读中出现的单词：peril 3, dynamic 37, eddy 14, dimension 16,30,31, apprentice, courtship 3,buoyant等。上面的词汇包含OG六篇阅读的95%以上的词汇题。

　　自己从事新概念教学多年，在准备托福的过程中，很容易找到这两者之间的联系了。在此建议各位未来参托福考试的同学，提前学完新概念，尤其是第四册，考托福的时候一定会有惊喜。
