鸡蛋中的俄罗斯套娃:德州冒出"蛋中蛋"

　　A Texas woman who found an egg the size of a baseball in her chicken coop, cracked it open to find another full egg inside, AP reported.

　　德克萨斯州一位妇女从鸡舍里找到了一枚像棒球那么大的鸡蛋，敲开后却发现里面还有一个完整的鸡蛋。

　　Earlier this week, Cookie Smith of Abilene found what she called the "mutant super egg", one inch longer and triple the weight of a regular hen"s egg.

　　据美联社报道，本周早些时候，艾利比尼的库奇 史密斯发现了这枚“基因突变的超级蛋”，它比普通的鸡蛋长一英寸，重量却是普通蛋的三倍。

　　She initially took pictures of the egg and showed photos to her co-workers at an Abilene hospital.

　　她先是给它拍了照，并把照片拿给艾利比尼医院的同事看。

　　She cracked it open only after a photographer accompanied her home. Inside was a large yolk and another intact normal-sized egg.

　　在摄影师的陪同下，她把鸡蛋敲开，结果发现里面除了有一个很大的蛋黄外，还有一枚毫发无损的正常大小的鸡蛋。

　　Smith says she knows the eggs may have been OK to eat, but she chose to pass on that.

　　史密斯说自己知道这个“超级蛋”应该可以吃，但最后还是决定免了。
