　　A policy to delay the retirement age is under research but it does not mean the currentregulation will be changed soon, an official of the Ministry of Human Resources and SocialSecurity told People"s Daily on Tuesday.
　　Some countries have extended the retirement age to adapt to demographic changes and the increasing age level of the population. But China, while having an aging population, still face employment pressure, so a policy change requires cautious consideration, the official said.
　　周二，人力资源和社会保障部的官员向《人民日报》透露，延迟退休年龄政策研究并不表明现行规定即将更改。这位官员称，为了适应人口的变化以及人口老龄化水平的提高，一些国家已经延迟了退休年龄。我国虽然也面临老龄化问题，但是同时也面临就业压力，所以政策的更改需要慎重考虑。
　　文中的retirement age即指"退休年龄"，"延迟退休年龄"可以说成delay the retirement age, 也可以说成 defer/extend/raise the retirement age，"提前退休"可以说成early retirement。
　　其他一些相关词汇有"养老金、退休金"pension，"弹性退休金制度"flexible pension system，"人口老龄化"英文可以说成population aging
