As millions of visitors descend on London to enjoy the greatest show on earth, many famous London landmarks have been transformed into Olympic venues.

The British Royal Family has always had a keen interest in sports. And the whole country celebrated as the Queen’s grand-daughter Zara Philips won silver in the equestrian team event for Great Britain.
