　　⑴ depend on 取决于;依赖于

　　后面通常接sb./sth., 意思是依赖于某人/某物，或取决于某人/某物。例如：

　　My success depends on my friend’s support.

　　Whether we go to school or not depends on the weather.

　　⑵ consist of 由。。。构成，由。。。组成

　　后面可以接sth.,意思是由某事物组成或构成。但一般不用于进行时态。例如：

　　This club consists of 50 members.

　　The book consists of five chapters.

　　⑶ get round to 抽出时间做某事

　　后面接sth. Or doing sth. ，同义词组为 get around to sth./ doing sth. 。例如：

　　Can you get round to reading this novel? 外语学习网

　　I hope I will get round to go shopping with you next week.

　　⑷ proud of 自豪的，荣耀的

　　后面可接人或者物，意思是‘为。。。感到自豪’。例如：

　　She is proud of her new house.

　　Are they proud of their success?

　　⑸ on the other hand 另一方面通常与 on the one hand 连用，表示事物的两个方面或两种情况。例如：

　　This book, on the other hand, provides very good ideas.

　　On the one hand, he feel lonely, on the other hand, he makes many friends.

　　常考短语

　　succeed in …成功地做成。。。;

　　后接名词或动名词，例：

　　I succeed in finishing this task.我成功地完成了这个艰难的任务。

　　to one’s surprise…令人吃惊的是 ;

　　可换成其他形式的所以格，通常在句子中做插入语。例：

　　To my surprise, he went to Japan without telling me.令我吃惊的是，他没告诉我就去日本了。

　　take care of … 照顾，照料;

　　同care of ，take crae of 后面人或物，但 care of 后面只接人

　　turn out …结果是，原来是。。。;证明是。。。

　　后接形容词或名词做表语，也可接不定式或that从句。例：

　　It turned out nice and sunny again.天气又变得晴朗了。

　　The party turned out a success. 舞会结果办得到很成功。

　　To our surprises, the stranger turned out to be an old friend of my mother.使我们惊奇的是，这个陌生人原来是我母亲的一个朋友。

　　It turned out that his statement was false.他说的一番话后来被证明是假的
