Swayingare willows far and near,
Vastexpanse of water is crystal clear,
Themerry note of orioles mingles with singing.
Youngmen and women are frolicking,
That’smore charming than a beautiful painting,
Theycan find no way home,
Andget lost in the depth of lotus loop.
Unawareit’s the West Lake that loves me,
Orso attached to the West Lake it’s me.

Sweetgirls sing as nightingales to the reed pipes with cheer
Androllic in young gentlemen’s deep favor.
It’sdifficult to paint the wonderful picture.
Losingmy homeward way for much pleasure,
Ipunt my boat in the depth of lotus once more.
Isthe beautiful West Lake infatuated with me?
OrI’m head over ears in deep love with her?
