它的美是神秘的，像一则寓言
我承认，我爱这个城市
那是因为我每次见到它
它给我的惊喜和陌生的感觉
要远远超过我对它的熟悉
它似乎永远埋藏着一种激情
就像一个年轻而又充满了
野性的少妇
每当我看见夜色
沉落在歌乐山巅
山城的万家灯火，便开始演奏
一部穿越时空的交响乐
那些星星般闪耀的音符
集合起金色的船队
把这座东方名副其实的山城
演绎成一片波峰浪谷的
最为神奇的光的海洋
不知道为什么
往往在这样的时候
我就会想到六十多年前
这座城市所经历的
那场惨绝人寰的大轰炸
我不敢肯定，在这些灯光中
有没有死者的眼睛
在另一个世界
审视着我们
他们是因悲愤
而惊恐万分的老人
是由于窒息，流血的十指
插入防空洞土墙的妇女
是那些张着嘴，但已经死去
怀里还抱着婴儿的母亲
我知道，那是五万多生命
他们的控诉
已成为永远的呐喊
是的，我爱这座城市
还有一个特殊的原因
那就是这座伟大的城市
与它宽厚善良的人民一样
把目光永远投向未来
从不复制仇恨
在这里，时间、死亡以及生命
所铸造的全部生活
都变成了一种
能包容一切的
沉甸甸的历史记忆！
从某种意义而言
这个城市对战争的反思
对和平的渴望
就是今天的中国

Iknow not why, but at such times
