　　The whole family get together and visit their ancestral hometowns.

　　中秋节和过春节一样重要，从农历八月十四日开始全国上下就要接连放假3天，庆祝中秋佳节。

　　Koreans treat the Mid-Autumn Festival as important as the New Year's Day. From the 15th day of the 8th month in the lunar calendar, they would enjoy a three-day holiday to celebrate the festival.

　　韩国中秋节最重要的是全家人要团聚到爷爷奶奶家，首先是祭拜祖先，然后全家人一起喝酒、打麻将、跳舞、赏月等。

　　In South Korean, the most significant thing is to return to their hometowns to pay respects to the spirits of their ancestor. Then the whole family would drink liquor, play mah-jong, dance together, admire the full moon, and so on.

　　韩国人在中秋节有吃“松糕”的习惯，这是有点类似月饼的食物。松糕的做法是，用水将米面和好，包上芝麻、小豆、芸豆、栗子等馅，做成半月模样或贝壳模样，放在松树针叶上蒸熟后，在其表面涂一层香油即可，形状有点像水饺。此外韩国人的中秋餐桌上还有芋头汤、花样串、炖牛腱等时令美味。

　　And Songpyeon, one of the quite essential dishes for Mid-Autumn Festival, is a kind of food similar to moon cake. The half-moon shaped or shell shaped Songpyeon dough is made by kneading rice flour using water, and filled with a sweet stuffing made of sesame seeds, beans, kidney beans or chestnuts. The dough is then steamed in a layer of pine needles, after brushing some sesame oil on the finished songpyeon. Then, you can enjoy the rice cake, which is a bit like the Chinese dumpling. In addition, South Koreans would also have taro soup, Bulgogi, stewed beef, and other tasty and seasonal treats and dishes on that day.

　　韩国人在中秋节期间也忙着送礼。中秋前夕，首尔的商场里礼盒卖得很火。另据最近一项调查显示，大约有44%的韩国人不喜欢过中秋。理由是经济负担大、家务劳动重、招待客人麻烦、交通不便等。

　　Another cumstom is sending gifts during the Mid-autumn Festival. Before Mid-Autumn Festival, marketplaces in Seoul always have a successful gift boxes sales.

　　However, a recent investication showed that about 44% South Koreans do not like this festival, they complain for heavy economic costs, overwhelming household chores, tiring guest-greeting etiquette, inconvenient traffic, and some other reasons.
