■in accord with 与……符合（一致）

My views are in accord with his. 我的意见与他的一致。

His statement was not in accord with the facts. 他的话与事实不符。

■in accordance with 与……一致，根据

I am in accordance with him in this matter. 在这件事上我和他的意见一致。

Write it in accordance with the form provided. 请按照规定的格式填写（它）。

■in alliance with 与……联盟

We are working in alliance with our foreign partners. 我们与外国合伙人联合一道工作。

The government, in alliance with the army, has decided to ban all public meetings for a month. 政府与军队结成联盟，决定禁止所有公众集会一个月。

■in combination with 与……联合（结合）

Hepatitis D exists only in combination with the hepatitis B virus. 丁型肝炎只与乙型肝炎病毒同时存在。

The firm is working on a new product in combination with several overseas partners. 公司正在联合几家海外合伙人制造新产品。

■in common with 与……有共同之处；与……一样

I haven’t a thing in common with my father. 我跟我父亲没有一点相同之处。

In common with most young people he hates getting up early. 他跟大多数年轻人一样，不愿意早起。

■in communication with 与……有联络（保持联系）

He is in communication with her. 他与她通信。

He’s in communication with his lawyer about this matter. 就这件事他与律师保持着联系。

■in company with 与……一起

She entered in company with her mother. 她和她母亲一道走了进来。

I, in company with many others, feel this decision was wrong. 我，还有许多人，都觉得这个决定是错误的。

■in comparison with 与……比较

There is an over in comparison with the demand. 现在供过于求。

Advanced and backward only exist in comparison with each other. 先进与落后只有在相互比较中才存在。
