1. “Go for a job” 求职

  • You should go for that job at the bank. You'll be great at it.

  • If you don't go for your dream job, you'll never land it!

2. “Apply for a job” 申请一份工作

  • I just landed a new job. I only applied for the job last month.

  • I want to apply for a new job because I need to earn more money.

3. “Land a job”;“get a job” 得到一份工作

  • Congratulations! I'm happy to tell you that you have landed this job.

  • I just got a sales job at that chocolate factory.

4. “Hold down a job” 努力保住一份工作

  • It can be hard to hold down a high-pressure job.
