　　-Serena: I'm really sorry.我很抱歉。

　　-Blair: Yeah, I could tell, since you didn't call or write the entire time it was happening.恩，我能看出来。因为自从事情发生后, 你从未打过电话或写过信。

　　-Serena: No, I-I know, I was just...Boarding school is like...是的，我知道，我只是。寄宿学校是那种...

　　-Blair: I don't even know why you went, to boarding school to being with. Do you know how it felt, calling your house when you didn't show up at school and having your mom say, Serena didn't tell you that she moved to Connecticut?我真不知道, 你为什么要去寄宿学校。你知道这是什么感觉吗, 你没来学校，我打电话去你家问，你妈妈却说，Serena没告诉你她去康涅狄格了吗？

　　1、Great.So my dad left her for another man.挺好的。虽然我爸为了一个男人而抛弃了她。leave for：动身去某地的意思，比如：I will leave for Beijing next week.我将在下星期动身去北京。leave A for B：离开A而来到B的身边。

　　2、She lost 15 pounds, got an eye lift.It's been good for her.她瘦了15磅，还做了眼皮拉皮。lose weight：减肥。eye lift：眼部提升吸脂手术。关于整容的表达：plastic surgery：外科整形，整容。plastic surgeon：整形外科医生。grind the cheekbone：磨颧骨。chest enlarge/bust enlargement/breast enhancement/breast firming：丰胸。double eyelid surgery：割双眼皮手术。single eyelid：单眼皮。cut double-folded eyelid：割双眼皮。抽脂术：liposuction。

　　3、show up：露面。还可以说show one's face或者show one's head。再次回到众人视线：appear/ reappear on public occasions，还可以说put in an appearance /make an appearance。复出：comeback/make a comeback/resurface。

　　4、Let's fix that：让我们重修旧好。fix在口语也是经常用到的，弥补某件事情，或者说与某人重修旧好，我们都可以说“Let's fix that.”

　　5、I-I don't want to take any of that away from you...我...我不会从你那抢走什么的。take away from 从...拿走...
