　　Fragile，意即易碎的。歌中大段的木吉它在曲中成为与人声相和的第二声部，Sting的演奏淡雅而又朴素，很得古典吉它之神韵。Sting的平淡吐字与全曲基调完美吻合，让人叫绝。此曲已经成为Sting的名作，常常为Sting乐迷们津津乐道。这首歌也在Sting的纪念9.11的音乐会上唱过，告诉人类在罪恶面前是多么的脆弱。

　　ting，原名Gordon Sumner，1951年10月2日出生于英格兰的沃尔森德。Sting的独唱生涯始于1982年，当时他是Police乐队的主唱和贝斯手。1985年，Sting出版了首张个人专辑《蓝海龟之梦》，相比之下，这张专辑的歌词显得比The Police时期的作品更富智慧。这张专辑中还有“爱他就给他自由”、“心的要塞”和“俄国人”等多首歌畅销一时。1993年末，Sting以专辑《Ten Summoner’s Tales》(十个朝圣者的故事)更受到人们的关注，在这张专辑中，Sting已经完全摆脱了The Police时期的影子，并加深了人们对他的行吟诗人印象。1994年底，宝丽金公司将Sting的历年名曲网罗一处，推出了精选专辑《金色的田野1984—1994》，热销一时。从80年代末开始，Sting经常涉足政界，用进行巡回演出的款项来资助印第安人争取生活的自由。进入90年代以来，Sting多次获得格莱美大奖，成为全球最有影响的艺人之一。Sting被当今乐坛冠以诗人歌手的美名相当程度上得益于他那独一无二的嗓音，沙哑，但不失细腻，始终如自由不羁的云，荡漾于缈缈的空中。
