口译时事：习近平在博鳌论坛发表讲话

　　Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2013 held Sunday in Boao, a coastal town in Hainan.

　　4月7日，博鳌亚洲论坛2013年年会在海南海滨小镇博鳌正式开幕，中国国家主席习近平在开幕式上发表主旨演讲。

　　Xi called on Asian countries to enhance levels of mutual trust and understanding in order to ensure regional stability and deeper cooperation. Meanwhile, he also talked of the need for Asia to upgrade its development model and adjust its economic structure.

　　习近平表示，亚洲国家需要增进互信和理解，以实现地区稳定和深入合作。与此同时，他还谈及亚洲迫切需要转变经济发展模式，调整经济结构。

　　In the speech, Xi reaffirmed China’s foreign policy, and said it will continue to promote friendship and partnership with its neighbors. He promised that China will continue to contribute towards peace, stability and prosperity of Asia and the entire world.

　　习近平在演讲中重申了我国的外交政策，并表示中国将坚持与邻为善、与邻为伴。他承诺中国将继续为亚洲乃至全世界的和平、稳定和繁荣贡献力量。

　　Xi also noted that stability in Asia now faces new challenges, as hotspot issues keep emerging, and warned that no one should be allowed to throw a region and even the whole world into chaos for selfish gains.

　　习近平还指出，亚洲的稳定目前正面临新的挑战，热点问题此起彼伏。他告诫说，任何人都不能为一己之私把一个地区乃至世界搞乱。

　　博鳌亚洲论坛成立于2001年，其成员包括25个亚洲国家、澳大利亚、新西兰和以色列等。今年的主题为：“革新、责任、合作：亚洲寻求共同发展”。
