The world’s biggest banks have agreed to tear upthe rule book on derivatives to make it easier toresolve a future failing institution like LehmanBrothers.

People familiar with the matter said 18 bank“dealers”, ranging from Credit Suisse to GoldmanSachs, have agreed to give up the right to pull theplug on derivatives contracts with a crisis-strickeninstitution.
知情人士称，18家银行“交易商”(从瑞士信贷(Credit Suisse)到高盛(Goldman Sachs))已经同意，当银行遭受金融危机打击时，放弃与其终止衍生品合约的权利。
