WhatI’m doing nowadays
Isay that I’m writing a fable
Onthe edges of a plaza
Thereare many steps
Veryuneven, like worn-out teeth
Theirrifts fill up with sand and dust
It’smy duty to take a stroll over there
Andstudy the traffic rules
Ofants that climb up along a cross
Naturallyjobs like this
Arevery few and far between
Thesky is almost black
Gowith your back turned
Letthe red and green marketplace sing behind you
Theflowers are about to wait
Stillsurrounded by green foliage
Bigwarm cows are smiling on one side
Asthey shoot their pure white milk into the night
Oncethe heart is at rest
Theblood still has to flow for many more years
