口译时事：埃及过度政府“武力清场”

　　埃及安全部队14日晨开始对首都开罗两处前总统穆罕默德穆尔西及穆斯林兄弟会支持者的示威营地实施清场，随后，埃及全国多地爆发冲突。埃及卫生部官员15日表示，清场行动和各地冲突已造成525人死亡、3717人受伤。

　　Egyptian security forces crushed the protest campsof thousands of supporters of the deposed Islamist president on Wednesday, shooting more than 200 of them dead in the bloodiest day in decades and polarising the Arab world's most populous nation.

　　埃及安全部队本周三对被罢免的前总统穆尔西支持者的营地实施“清场”行动，二百余人遭射杀身亡，这一天是几十年来最血腥的一天，也让这个阿拉伯世界人口最多的国家陷入极端分化状态。

　　“清场”在文中用到的表达是to crush the protest camp，或者to crush protesters，另外也可以用to clear the protest camp表示。埃及国家电视台援引总统府声明说，埃及从14日开始进入紧急状态（state of emergency），为期一个月；同时在开罗和其他几个城市实行彻夜宵禁（dusk-to-dawn curfew）。

　　埃及过度政府可能继续采取强硬措施通过进一步的“武力清场(assault on protest camps)”彻底结束旷日持久的静坐（sit-ins）和对峙（confrontation/stand-off）。
