　　It's difficult to say no to booze when it's on tap at an awards ceremony and Benedict Cumberbatch certainly made the most of what was on offer at the GQ Awards.

　　The Sherlock star, who looked suave in all-black as he arrived suited and booted at the event at London's Royal Opera House last night, admitted he'd had more than a few drinks before he accepted his gong for Actor of the Year after a successful 12 months on screen.

　　The 38-year-old star has had a brilliant year, starring in the third series of BBC's Sherlock, appearing in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Oscar-winning movie 12 Years A Slave.
