　　Everything is bigger in Texas, and the flavors are no exception. A boom of culinary creativity continues to sweep over Austin, making it the go-to city in the southwest to feast on an entire world of cuisines, all with a Texas twist.

　　Keeping Austin weird is an ever-growing roster of specialized seasonal restaurants, which vend an ever-changing menu of local delights, supplemented with small plates pushed through the restaurant on dim sum-style carts. All of the restaurant’s grains are milled in house, so skipping any bread or pasta dish would be a mistake.

　　Breakfast tacos, often up for debate as Texas' official state food, are a must-try in Austin — any time of day. Fresh tortillas stuffed with scrambled eggs and a variety of greasy meat toppings should be a daily staple while exploring the city.
