　　On the matter of North Korea, Japan and South Korea want reassurance, not reckless bluster.

　　reassurance：something that is said or done which makes someone feel calmer and less worried or frightened about a problem令人安心的保证；能消除疑惧的言行

　　reckless：not caring or worrying about the possible bad or dangerous results of your actions轻率的；鲁莽的；不顾后果的

　　bluster：V/N to speak in a loud angry way that is not really very impressive咆哮，叫嚷，吆喝

　　China will be his real test. Mr Trump used to blast it for unfair trade; now he has a crush on Xi Jinping, its authoritarian president.

　　blast：to criticize someone or something very strongly - used especially in news reports抨击，猛烈批评〔尤用于新闻报道〕

　　have a crush on：N-COUNT If you have a crush on someone, you are in love with them but do not have a relationship with them. 暗恋

　　He will count any trade sop that he can bring back to his base as a great victory, but that's a blinkered approach.

　　blinkered：considering only a narrow point of view 思路狭窄的

　　What should concern him, but evidently does not, is how America can keep its decades-old pre-eminence in Asia, which helped underwrite the region's security and prosperity, in the face of a hugely confident China.

　　preeminent：ADJ If someone or something is preeminent in a group, they are more important, powerful, or capable than other people or things in the group. 杰出的

　　underwrite：V-T If an institution or company underwrites an activity or underwrites the cost of it, they agree to provide any money that is needed to cover losses or buy special equipment, often for an agreed-upon fee. 为…提供经济担保; 同意资助
